Tyki Babcock '25 Recruiting Profile

I am a 2006 born hockey player from Ajax, Ontario. I attend Pickering High School. From the first time I stepped on the ice at the age of 3, I’ve had the dream of playing the highest level hockey possible. I aspire to play at the collegiate level. I understand the sacrifice and effort that it takes to play at higher levels, but I am and will continue to give a 100% effort. 

Last year I was with the U18 AA Markham Waxers. I had a great year, and was also part of the Markham Waxers AAA quest to winning the OMHA’s. I am a defenseman that possesses high iQ and great skating skills. I am also a leader both on and off the ice, which is why I wore the “C” last year. I try to set a strong example for the rest of my peers. I am always looking to improve in any way possible, and this attitude makes me easily coachable. 

For 2024-25, I will be with the American Hockey Academy in Braintree, MA.
