Zane Burleigh '21 Recruiting Profile

I am looking to play NCAA Division 1 hockey, I have the grades and believe I have the hockey ability to make this dream come true. I currently play for the Soo Thunderbirds Jr A. We were NOJHL regular season champions. We battled back from a 3-0 series deficit in the finals to become the NOJHL Copeland Cup Champions! I have faced adversity throughout my hockey career so far, and that has only made me more hungry and determined to reach my goals. I have had the opportunity to train with NHL and college players the last couple years, I have taken that elite mindset and applied it to my efforts in the gym as well as my on ice game. I look to be a leader on and off the ice. I am very aware that committing to a player is more than just athletics, it’s about the character that they can bring to the table as well. That is why I believe I can be a valuable addition to any Division 1, CIS, or Division 3 program.
