My goal is to play hockey at the Collegiate level and I am willing to work extremely hard to achieve that goal. Over the past two seasons I have focused on stretching and fitness to improve my flexibility and movement. I have been using programs set up from Goalie Fitness Instructor, Maria Mountain which also includes yoga. I have found this program to be extremely rewarding. During the summer months I have been training with Deon Keller to improve my strength and conditioning. I am a team-first player and always stay positive through the ups and downs that a hockey season can throw at you. As a goalie, it's important to be mentally tough and I feel that is a strong element of my game. I am well prepared and can stay focused on my role no matter what the situation. Academically, I am striving to keep my GPA above 3.5. Last year I was awarded the English award with a final grade of 90%, the Sportsmanship and Leadership award, as well as the Best All Round Boy.
