John Bryant '20 Recruiting Profile

Hello, 

Thank you for taking the time to read my personal statement. Personally, I've always held myself to a high standard, and I've always wanted to excel in everything that I encounter. After high school I am aspiring to play competitive hockey at the university/college level and hopefully play in the NHL one day. Secondary plans which I would pursue would be to get my doctorate and to become a practicing physician. I'm a good candidate as I am a diligent, hard working individual who isn't afraid to put myself in tough situations when need be. Secondly, I am always willing to put others ahead of myself in order to succeed. I am eager to learn and develop my skills and with the right training and leadership I know that this goal is possible. I believe that I bring positivity to the places I go, and though I am competitive, I feel that I am always a motivator and a strong leader with my team. I am different from other recruits simply based on my desire of success and strong work ethic to completing tasks which I have been given. Whether that "task" is to complete a class project or to tie the game up with minimal time left, I will always give 110% to make sure that what I do is completed,  and that it is completed to a high degree.
