Personal Statement

My name is Charles, I grew up on a farm in a small town named Sainte-Helene De Kamouraska in the Province of Quebec. In the last few years, I had to pass through a hard time especially because since I am 15 years old I moved away from home to play hockey and get well educated.  I also have one brother and one sister so, my family had to make big sacrifice to help me achieve my dreams.

I first get scouted to play for the Mont-Joli Aiglons (Midget Prospect) at 15 years old.

I graduated in Secondary School in Quebec at the Seminary Saint-Joseph with 80% average in my classes.  After that, I had the invitation to go to QJMHL training camp but instead, I decided that I wanted to go to the University and play hockey at the same time. So, I went play in the New York state for the Syracuse Stampedes Junior A hockey. In August 2015, I signed a contract with the Coldwater Falcons in the GMHL. It also makes me enrol at Patrick Fogarty Catholic Secondary School, where I will graduate High School in Ontario in June. I get traded to the Bracebridge Blues in December. There I played a lot at different positions and the coaching liked the way I played.

I define myself as an hard-worker Student-Athlete. I work as well hard on the ice than in classes and in the gym.

The school is really important for me. My goal is to go play hockey at the CIS or NCAA level and get a degree in Journalism.
