Wade Monague '21 Recruiting Profile

My goal is to realize a life long dream of playing hockey at the Pro level.  I have been playing AAA elite hockey since I was 9 years old and my short term goals have always been to get drafted into the OHL with a life long goal of being drafted into the NHL.  I have learned that there several pathways to get to those goals, and NCAA route appears to be one of those ways.

I am a hard worker who loves to be in the big games and thrives on big minutes and big games.  I do not like to get scored on in Practice or in Games and work very hard to prevent goals.  In the offseason I spend a lot of time in the gym working out when I am not fulfilling my duties in my summer employment.  At this point I have dedicated all of my time to Hockey when it comes to participating in other organized sports.

I will graduate highschool in the summer of 2021 and definitely plan on continuing to play hockey, but not letting that deter me from continuing my education as well.  My hope is they go hand in hand.
