Shaun Clost '23 Recruiting Profile

As a player I am someone who is very mature and coachable. I am willing to fulfil any given role or situation with no questions asked and 100% effort. My biggest strength on and off the ice is my leadership skills and competitive edge that I bring consistently with every challenge that I face. With being given various leadership roles such as being named captain of my current high school team and assistant captain of my current club team (Brockville Tikis junior.B) as a rookie, I have gained experience with upholding a higher responsibility that believe coaches and teams can strongly benefit from. Coming from a very competitive and athletic family I have a natural desire to win and a high competitive edge that feeds off and motivates the people around me. While being a competitive athlete I also highly prioritize my academics and take pride in being a effective student so I can give myself as many opportunities as I possibly can to earn a successful future. My goal over the next 4-6 years is to play at the highest possible level of hockey I can while completing a degree in business so can continue to do the two things I love the most.
