Chancey Novosad '25 Recruiting Profile

I have started playing IP hockey when I was 4 years old. At the time I was also registered in a learn to skate program. I have always loved the game and it’s always been my dream to play at the highest level that I can. In my novice year I was noticed by an outside coach and invited to play in a AAA tournament once the season was completed. I have been invited and played on many spring hockey AAA teams.

When I’m not on the ice, I’m always picking up a stick or trying to juggle. I consider myself a great team player, it doesn’t matter who scores etc; as for me the game is all about working together as a team and connecting with my teammates. I have adapted well on new teams, and with different coaches. I feel being coachable is one of my strongest qualities and I’m always ready to learn and improve my skills to be the best I can be.

I work hard in school and it’s important for me to maintain my grades. I’m looking to perform at the highest level possible and reach my full potential on and off the ice.
