Bowdyn Neely '22 Recruiting Profile

I have my sights set on playing in the NCAA and I am working hard to sort out my path to that goal; currently playing Junior A for the South Shore Kings in the NCDC. At university, I intend to study either business or computer science or a combination of both. 

As a player, I am a strong skating, right shot defenseman with excellent hockey sense.  Defence is the strongest part of my game but I will also join the rush to create scoring opportunities, in fact, in the shortened 19/20 season I was tied at the top of the league in assists.  I am a very coachable player, who shows up at the rink with a positive attitude every day.  In part, that attitude and effort have led me to be named Captain of two of my teams over the past four years. 

One part of my life that influenced who I am was in my last year of bantam and I did not make the bantam AAA team. Although it was tough, in doing so I learned the most. That year I was named captain, it helped me grow and focus on my leadership as well as practice my skills and become better in order to make a team the next year.
