Dear Coaches,
Hockey has been a part of my life since I was 3. I have had some amazing experiences over the years with this sport, from playing in tournaments in Lake Placid and other inspiring locations as a mite through my minor midget season to going to the Heartland Hockey camp in Minnesota. I was driven to take it to the next level and, with hard work and perseverance, I made the jump from Minor Midget to Junior A in 2018/2019 and in 2019 /2020 I now enter my 3rd season in Jr A with the Elmira Jr. Enforcers.
Outside of the rink, fitness is one of my passions. I have always loved working out and being fit. I currently have the honor of working out with Matt Nichol, the founder of Bio Steel, at his gym in Toronto. His dedication to athletics and to fitness create an atmosphere that breeds success. This past year, I have found that training with a professional boxer at the West End Athletic Club in Toronto has help me develop as a complete athlete. I have also participated in Spartan races and Tough Mudders which really challenge you both mentally and physically. At my last tough mudder, I finished in 12th out of over 1,000 competitors in the 18KM race. My various training methods allow me to stay in top physical and mental shape and fully develop for hockey.
I am really looking forward to continuing my journey with hockey into University in 2021.
Hockey will always be a part of my life and taking this next step out of high school is an exciting next chapter in my story.
