- 2018 Highlights
Personal Statement
My name is Andrew Eberling. I was a Senior at Mount Saint Charles Academy last year. My current GPA is 3.89 which includes numerous honors courses. I have been class of 2020's student body secretary for freshman and sophomore years of high school and participated in many after school activities, including baseball, student council, class office, and community service when I was at Lenape High School. I am a member of the National Honors Society at Mount Saint Charles.
Ice hockey has always been my passion since I first started walking. I would watch my oldest brother Ebo play every game and couldn't wait to get out on the ice. My brother Eric "Ebo" is a very inspiring role model for me. When I was nine years old and Ebo was in his first year of midget hockey, he was diagnosed with osteosarcoma (bone cancer) in his knee. He battled this disease for two years and passed away on Christmas morning in 2013. Living through and witnessing my brothers battled provided me with unwavering determination and strength to succeed. In addition, my passion for ice hockey has only strengthened. I am a team leader, complete two way player and definitely not afraid to battle in the corners. I play hockey for Mount Saint Charles Academy. I have also played for Selects Hockey Q team both domestically as well as at several World Selects tournaments and am a player on the USA Atlantic District Development Team. Over the past several years I have been one of the top scorers in the AYHL league and was selected to the all- star team this past season. I am a student of the game and offer the best in both education and hockey.
