Personal Statement

My dream is to play hockey at a college level. I have very high expectations for myself when it comes to both hockey and academics. Hockey is my passion, and finding a school that fits both my goals of becoming a college hockey player and an accomplished student is extremely important to me. I am a hard worker both on the ice and in the classroom.  I would like to combine my passion for hockey and my academic abilities to build a future for myself.

I am really excited to return to Canada and play for the Estevan Bruins for the rest of my last Junior year.  They are a really exciting club and the chance to play with many of my former team mates and the other really talented players there is one that I am looking forward to as our season progresses.

I was named top defense man at the Telus Cup and also in Canada by MidgetAAACanada.com for October. I was also named to the first team all stars for my league. I took 151 shots in 72 games played, blocked 151 shots and had 55 PIM's. My take away/give away ratio wais +137 and I delivered 106 hits. I had 16 goals and 60 assists in those games, an average of over a point per game. I was the top scoring defense men in the regional championship with 2 goals and 2 assists in the four games we played and led all defense men at the Telus Cup.
