Joshua Pafford '19 Recruiting Profile

My name is Josh and I have been playing hockey since I was 5 years old. I play the game of hockey for my love of the game.  I do not necessarily care about how many points I have but I am very supportive of my teammates and a fierce competitor.  My philosphy is the more you make the game simple, the easier it is to play. Grades are everything in my house, so if I do not have the grades I do not play.  My future plans include playing hockey through high school and I plan to play college hockey at the D1 level.  My ultimate dream is to make the NHL.  I know...every young hockey player has this dream.  I am really looking forward to the opportunity where I can help a program dedicated to the game of hockey, achieve their goal of winning the NCAA Hockey Championship.   When it comes to game time I am very focused and the only thing I think about is hockey and what I can do to help my team be as successful as possible.  I am very dedicated to the sport and I know I have a lot to learn but I am willing to take the time to learn and develop my skills.
