Personal Statement
Since the age of four, I have progressed and strived to be a great all-around player. With the support of my family teammates and peers, it has allowed me to get to where I am today and is shown everytime I am on the ice. My goal is to be the best leader, role model and student athlete I can be. My drive and passion for hockey is different from others, as I work everyday to be the best player I can be and work on my techniques to allow myself to advance further each and every time I play. It was gratifying and a representation of my hard work when I was given the awards for the fastest skater, best stick-handling and best accuracy. I was also given the opportunity to play at the Varsity All-Star Game and Competition as a freshman. The experience was rewarding and to meet and learn from my peers will be an experience I will never forget. I am thankful everyday to be given the opportunity to get on the ice and do what I love to do, and I will continue to work hard to develop myself as a player and a person on and off the ice.
