Samuel Tipton '17 Recruiting Profile

My philosophy in life is to work hard and be consistent in everything that I do, both academically and physically. I enjoy being a positive influence in the lives of others, while I am still growing into the person that God has pre-destined for me to become. I believe that nothing just happens by chance. I have always found that it pays off to stay focused, make best choice decisions, and meet people who are different than myself. Moving forward in life and experiencing new environments, opens up doors for new opportunities and I find being in the right place at the right time, is important.  I plan to attend college and obtain a graduate degree and would like to continue playing hockey at the same time. After college, I would like to play professional hockey either in the United States or abroad and open my own Graphic Design business, providing services to companies and sports teams.  I find it hard to compare yourself to others when everyone is unique in their way.
