My name is Blake Langston. I viewed my first hockey game at the WHL Tri-City Americans at 9 months old and after that, I had a love for the game. All I needed was a stick and a puck to keep me happy. At age 5 I started with our local Junior Hockey Association at the Beginning Hockey level.
This year, I start as a freshman in high school. I have played with the local Junior Hockey Association at the Rep A, Rep B, and house levels for the past 10 years. I want to continue hockey in college as a versatile player, I currently rotate through the right-wing, center, and defenseman positions. I am a team player that focuses on the game, wins and loses are a team effort. For the past two years, I have been the Alternate Captain and was promoted to Captain for this last year. Hockey is the best sport because of the passion of the players on the ice and how it can energize the fans. There is no better feeling than lacing those skates, giving high fives, and walking down the tunnel.
