Personal Statement
My dream in life is to go to a good college that has a great team, and get a degree. I am interested in playing NCAA Division III or ACHA Division I or II hockey. My ultimate goal in life is to go to college, play hockey and get an education, and hopefully make it to a professional level. Right now I live in Spokane WA, and play house hockey. The hockey program for house is descent, but we don't get too much ice time to really improve our skills. That is why I go to camps over the summer and work on skills on my own time when I can't get on the ice. I see myself as a play-maker. I feel good about getting the assists and starting a good play. I also enjoy scoring when I get the chance to. I believe in a team effort to win games. As a house hockey player I am underestimated at my skill level. If I could play at a higher level I would, but the money goes towards school. I am a student-athlete so school comes first and sports second. College hockey seems to be the right fit for me because most programs base it off of education first. My aspiration is to play college hockey and get a good education, something I can juggle already.
