I am a recent graduate from Vimy ridge academy, I have been playing lacrosse for 9 years starting in box where I began playing field in my grade 9 year at vimy. I am looking to attend college during the 2021 year.
During my years of lacrosse I played at various levels in box and played in multiple field tournaments with my high school team, during my first 2 years of playing in field I played as a long pole defense where I later began to play offensive middie and attack. I found myself finding success in lacrosse playing in provincials, and playing in a national atmosphere when I played in the North American Indigenous Games in 2017 in Hamilton Ontario.
What sets me apart from other players on the field is that I use my large size and strength on the field to play hard physical defense with body and stick checks, and can also you my physical traits to win multiple loose balls. I have very good communication skill and am able to cooperate with other players on the field. due to my box lacrosse background I'm am very capable of handing the ball under pressure
Although the lacrosse seasons were cancelled and my next national event was postponed, My goal to improve and play at higher level is not hindered, during these time I trained and improved my academics. My ultimate goal is to play at a collegiate level of lacrosse and become a better student of the game.
