I picked up a stick when I moved to Arizona in April, 2014, and haven't put it down since. I played Middie first and then was recommended to play goalie since I knew how to play it in soccer. I've loved goalie, and will continue to get better at it.
I would love to go to college one day, and I think I have got a better way to get into it. College Lacrosse looks like the best place to play it. I have high grades and keep a good social life with it. High school is when I want to show my best effort. Ben Prepchuk has been the head coach for Boulder Creek through the 2016-2017 season. He is a 10-year NLL Professional. I love Ben Prepchuk as a coach. Sadly, as of 2017, he is now coaching at ASU and Nick Hillier is my new head coach. He was a walk-on player at ASU and worked with Ben during my playtime in Box Lacrosse. At the end of the 2018-2019 season, Nick was named the Arizona Lacrosse League Coach of the Year. This was his first year coaching our team. Nick is a great person to be around on, and off, the field. I love him as a coach, and Jeff Wilson was a great coach, too. He is the one that showed me the ropes of lacrosse and goalie. These three coaches are the ones I am thankful for getting into lacrosse. A quote by Jeff Wilson: "You're like the Stephan Curry of lacrosse." A quote by Ben Prepchuk: "Just believe what others tell you about your skills in Lacrosse. Don't doubt them and believe in yourself. I know you can become a great player, because you will."
I would love to attend a school that offers a great education, great lacrosse team, and just an overall quality of life. Again, I maintain high grades, good social life, and have great coaches. My parents, friends, and coaches are the people that got me to where I am today. Without them, I wouldn't be here today, and I wouldn't be as good of a player as I am today.
