Aydan Johnson '19 Recruiting Profile

My collegiate goals are to play the sport I love, lacrosse, all the while getting an education that will give me the tools to pursue a career and be successful. I definitely value education a lot and want to be able to gain the knowledge to be successful in a society. Playing sports is also one of my passions, knowing that I'll be playing lacrosse or basketball drives me to get through tough school days. I would love to be able to continue playing sports competitively when getting a university degree. I think that I make a good candidate for teams because I have a work ethic that drives me to become better. I have been on teams when I was one of the most talented lacrosse players and I have been on teams when I have not been one of the most talented. By far I would much rather be surrounded people who are better than me because it gives me more opportunity to get better. I have never been a player that makes the flashiest plays. I am more so the player that works hard and does the little things to make a contribution to a teams effort. Doing well in school has always been something that I value a lot, and I have been able to achieve straight A's throughout all of high school despite having days filled sports and other extra curricular activities. Overall I think I have the tools to be great part of a collegiate lacrosse team and be successful while working towards a university degree.
