Tyler Nelsen '25 Recruiting Profile

My name is Tyler Nelsen and I am from Ventura California. I've been playing lacrosse since middle school and I absolutely love it. In college Id like to peruse a degree in mechanical engineering and play lacrosse on a higher level. My high school doesn't have a lacrosse team so I've been playing for LA Mavericks Lacrosse Club. Over the years I have become a much better player. I learned how to be coachable and I gained a better understanding of the game. What makes me different from other players is my drive to improve my skills. Im the type of guy to arrive 45 minutes early to my practice and stay up to an hour after. I'm always lookin for the opportunity to play.
