Brendan Kenny Cla...Personal Statement
My goal is to play lacrosse at any college/university that can give me both a meaningful athletic and academic experience that will set me up to be successful. I am interested in majoring in environmental science, with the goal of attending law school afterward. I'm a team player and a hard worker, both on and off the field. I know that every time I walk out onto a field I need to work my hardest to earn my spot. As such, I always make sure to give it my all. Before both my sophomore and junior season, we didn't know if my high school would have a program. I fought to make sure we had one. I helped secure coaches, equipment, etc. I love the sport of lacrosse, and it holds so much meaning to me - I will continue to work my hardest in order to continue playing it.

- AwardsGrades 6-11; 13-time all A Honor Roll and 7-time A/B Honor Roll. Attended the invite-only Junior National Young Leaders Conference in Washington DC, sponsored by Envision (Summer 2019). I was then invited to attend many leadership and non-leadership-related Envision conferences for Summer 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023.
- ActivitiesConcert band, and formerly marching band. Involved with the youth group at my local temple. I am a prominent member of my school's debate team - for the 2022 to 2023 school year I am the Speech and Debate Team Treasurer. In 2019 volunteered and raised money for Life Net for Families. I also volunteer at a local nature center/animal hospital (Sawgrass Nature Center). From July 2020 to August 2022 I volunteered there for around 75 hours. Historian for the Art Club (2022-2023 school year).
