Pádraig (Paddy) Judge '23 Recruiting Profile

Since picking up a lacrosse stick at age six in Denver, CO, I have loved lacrosse. I also play Hurling. I started five years ago after attending a Hurling match in County Clare, Ireland. I love the outdoors and have my Advanced Open Water Diving Certification (I hope to have my Rescue Certification by 18); I surf, ski, and snowboard. To relax, I enjoy a good game of chess.

My position is attack, but I am also used as a utility player. Over the years of playing lacrosse, I have played every position on the field, including goalie (not very good but I have a lot of respect for my goalie). Having the opportunity to play every position on the field has helped with my lacrosse IQ and has made me a better player and teammate.

Currently, I attend NSU University School. I take the following courses: AP Biology, AP Literature, AP Computer Science, Calculus Honors, Economics Honors/Intro to Business, and French II. I have taken two Notre Dame Global Scholar Courses and hope to do a third this fall. Once I graduate from college/university, I want to have a successful career in International Business or Business Psychology.

Currently, I assist with coaching the 8U boys' team for Weston Warrior Lacrosse Club. It is awesome to see the young players have the love and excitement of the game as I had and still have since picking up my first lacrosse stick. I do community service with Toys For Tots and Operation Gratitude and assist with set up and scorekeeping for the Florida Lacrosse Open.
