Since I was little, I have always had a lacrosse stick in my hand. I started playing when I was 6 years old. While I swam, plated soccer, t-ball, and football, lacrosse has always been my primary sport. I am now a dual athlete; I play both Varsity football and Varsity lacrosse. Football has helped my lacrosse game. My goal is to play at the collegiate level.
In the 12 years I’ve been playing lacrosse, I’ve gained a real understanding of what it means to be a teammate. I’ve played under different coaches and alongside a wide range of teammates, and each of those experiences has helped me grow—not just as a player, but as a person. Lacrosse has taught me a lot, but the biggest lesson is this: no matter how talented you are individually, you can’t truly succeed without teamwork.
My goal in college is to attend a great academic university with a strong lacrosse program. Just as important, I want to find a team where I feel connected—to the school, the coaches, and my teammates—both on and off the field.
I believe my academic and athletic background makes me a strong fit for a number of programs. I attend Pine Crest School, which is nationally recognized for its academic rigor, and I know I’ve been well prepared for the next level.
