I started playing lacrosse a little later than most of my teammates. Last year being a freshmen, at the end of the season the coaches moved up a select group of my friend from the JV team to play for varsity right before the playoffs. That year our varsity team won state championship. The fact that I wasn't part of the varsity team, I made a promise to myself that I would do everything in my power to make the varsity team the following year. The following summer I worked extremely hard to improve my stick skills with my travel team and went to various tournaments where I competed against kids who played at a higher level. By putting in the time and hard work, I became more experienced and improved in all areas of the game.
This year as a sophomore I reaped the benefits of my hard work and dedication and finally got invited to play with the varsity team and we are soon playing Districts and Regionals !i keep working and practicing 7 days a week, all my dedication to be better and ready for my college team!
Meanwhile My current GPA is 4.5. I recently took a Pre SAT and pre ACT exam and did great! since my main goal in life is to excel in both my academic and lacrosse future. My dream and goal is to be part of an excellent college that not only appreciates my high academic and lacrosse skills but that will also challenge me to be better at both. Also my goal is to surround myself with like minded students and motivating teachers and coaches.
