Paul Johnson '21 Recruiting Profile

Hello,

My name is Paul Johnson. I am entering my Senior year this fall at Newsome High school.  I started playing lacrosse at the age of five.  I know that in my heart I want to establish my self as a premier attack/midfielder.  For me, lacrosse is a passion.  The chance to play lacrosse at a higher level would be a great opportunity and let me complete the goal I have had for a long time now.  

I always strive to be the best player possible, whether I am doing wall ball to improve my stick skills or shooting on a goal for hours.  First and foremost, I want to attend a College that will academically challenge me while furthering my education, and becoming the best lacrosse player that I can be.  One of my greatest challenges was when I broke my collar bone 10 weeks before varsity lacrosse tryouts, this injury took 7 weeks to fully heal, which only gave me 3 weeks to fully prepare for tryouts.  I put in countless hours to get my skills and conditioning back up to top level.   My hard work and perseverance paid off,  as I was one of 2 freshman attack/midfielders to make a team that has won districts 5 times in a row.  

The opportunity to play lacrosse at the school I wish to attend would be a dream come true to me.  For a school to challenge me on the field and in the classroom could prepare me better in life, and also teach me to be my own person.
