I'm very excited to play lacrosse in college and feel my best athletic accomplishments are still ahead of me. Over the last year I have grown and matured and have had some outstanding experiences and success with lacrosse. I was recently selected as captain for the Evanston HS team and to begin the season I helped lead the team to get two double OT wins. In the first game I was able to beat a defender and find a teammate open on the crease for the win. In our 3rd game I was sent to the penalty box late in the 1st OT but my teammates were able to kill the penalty and I once again beat my defender in 2OT and buried the game winner. A year ago (2016 season) I was on high school team with 20 seniors and was starting on a club team with a number of D1 commits. I was playing well but filled a role that I was comfortable with. Over the last 12 months I have really invested in becoming a leader and working hard to grow my game.
I played on the Brine Illinois 2017/2018 in the summer of 2016 and was recently selected to the all-star team at the 3D/IMB College Bound Series Showcase in Scottsdale, AZ in January 2017. These experiences have given me tremendous confidence and I know I can play with anyone in the country. I have tremendous speed, quickness, stick skills and my shot is exceptional. I won't be 17 until June of 2017 so I'm young for my class and if you talk to my coach, Justin Porter (Club & HS), he would categorize me as a late bloomer who has surprised a lot of people over the last year. I'm looking for the right school and want to find a college that will challenge me academically. I look forward to speaking with you soon and please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions.
