Lacrosse to me is and has been one of the biggest parts of my life. I remember playing lacrosse in third grade and ever since it's been my favorite thing to do ever since then. When I was little I wasn't always the fastest or most skilled kid so I played defense because I was always the physical one. I loved lacrosse so much and I wanted to become better at it so during those practices as a little kid I was so eager to get a ball in my stick and play around with it. I was getting a lot better at the sport and up to with grade I was one of the best on my team. And I stuck with defense the whole way through because I just loved the feeling of knocking the ball out of someones stick and making a huge pass to my offense. I never cared about scoring goals. and When I got to middle school I was super excited to use the six feet poles. I remember I struggled the first time I used one but I was in my backyard passing or scooping ground balls to become a better player. And now I'm in high school and play for a varsity team and now I don't struggle with the ball in my stick. but I still work on my stick skills and my foot work every day to push myself to become a better player because I know there's always room for improvement. My experiences through lacrosse Has also helped me off the field in school. I used to struggle in school but just like I pushed myself to get better in lacrosse I'm pushing myself to get better grades in school and get to the perfect college for me.
