My dad started a youth lacrosse program in our area back when I was in kindergarten. Many of my close friends joined the league over the years and we have competed together in both lacrosse and ice hockey. I like the fast-paced and complex nature of lacrosse. There's always something new to learn and a variety of ways to demonstrate and improve my skills. In addition to playing for my high school team as a mid-fielder, I also play summer league with a travel team (Maine Mussels) out of Portland, Maine. I'm interested in pre-med, biology or engineering programs in college. I am very dedicated to working hard in school and also in my training for sports. During the stay at home order I was trail running a nearby mountain and lifting weights to stay in shape. Speed and agility are some of my key strengths on the field. I play multiple sports (soccer, ice hockey and lacrosse) and I feel that makes me more versatile, motivated and well conditioned overall. My high school experience has been very positive (even though we have not won any big titles) and I had the opportunity to serve as team captain this season for both hockey and lacrosse which has taught me a lot about effort and communication.
