Performing at a high level both in school and at sports is important to me. I appreciate the opportunity to compete in lacrosse and be a leader on and off the field of play. I also understand that carrying this through to academics creates a well rounded student-athlete and this will help with my success later in life as I develop my career.
I like to 'think' the game through game IQ instead of a brute force method. This helps me see opportunities to capitalize on for scoring and feeding my team-mates by directing them and communicating on the field of play and off. When a physical aspect is needed, I can meet the requirement through proper positioning, strength and finesse. I am fully dedicated to a regular workout plan and proper diet to ensure I am at peak condition at all times.
I was proud to be among the youngest players on the Manitoba Blizzard in the Canadian Junior box lacrosse league (RMLL) in 2022. A highlight for me was also being chosen as assistant captain on Team Manitoba going to Canada Summer Games this upcoming August of 2022. My passion for lacrosse started at a young age when my brother and I were first introduced to the sport by our dad. Growing up I was a multi-sport athlete, but as Covid struck I narrowed my options to lacrosse, as I just didn't see the same love and motivation to play any of the other sports such as hockey and volleyball.
