I first started playing lacrosse my freshman year when I moved to a new school and one of my friends got me into the sport. I have only played for two years, but just started taking the sport seriously. My sophomore year I realized I wanted to play in college and decided to make that a goal. This summer when I tried out for the Omnia lacrosse team I realized I really have a chance because the coaches only kept 21 kids out of 330, and I was one of them. This made me realize the potential I have to play at the next level.
I have strong stick skills, very aggressive defense, I am mentally strong, and have a high lacrosse IQ. I am also very coachable and try to lead by example to my peers and teammates. I strive to help my coaches by leading in drills and helping my teammates become the best they can for our overall team. I am one of the hardest working players and recruits you will find.
I work hard on my lacrosse skills year around until football starts then my focus is on my football team. However, I still practice lacrosse in my down time to ensure I stay ready. I participate in all extra lacrosse tournaments when I’m invited. While also participating in football, weight lifting, and speed and agility which contributes to my athleticism.
In the classroom I struggle to maintain my grades but these next 2 years I will be dedicated to raising my gpa. I also participate at local little kids camps and fundraisers for football.
I want to attend a college that will push me in the classroom and on the lacrosse field.I am open to any college but ultimately want to find the right college for me, with the most competition possible to better myself. I hope to be an amazing role model to my peers and siblings and make my parents proud.
