Jared Raisanen '20 Recruiting Profile

I began playing lacrosse in 2013 and have loved the sport since my first season! I am excited about the opportunity to play in college and recognize this does not come without effort and discipline to improving my individual performance while supporting that of my teammates as well.

Defense is where I perform best. I have taken the position of leadership on the team and seek to encourage teammates to do their best off and on the field. I support the Lacrosse family with growing the game and participating as a youth mentor with the 3-5 grades and 6-8 grades youth program within my school community. 

I have been working hard at my academic standing this past year and have seen some significant improvements with my GPA. I was honored to be on the honor roll for this past semester and plan to continue to achieve improvements in my academic efforts to accomplish this for the upcoming 3 semesters of my high school career. I look forward to attending college and having the opportunity to push myself to improve both academically and athletically.
