Tanner Johnson '22 Recruiting Profile

My goal is to play competitive lacrosse at the next level, while following my interests in sports medicine. I have played for 7 years and have been on the varsity team for 3 years. I lettered my freshman year. We recently went undefeated in two tournaments this summer, and undefeated at the Top Flight Tournament in Indiana with my club team.  On the field I direct the defense and strongly communicate with my teammates, while using my size to keep opponents out of scoring positions. I am coachable and a team player. I want to learn from every opportunity I get and help my teammates to do the same. Off the field, I have a 3.66 GPA while taking AP US history, Physics, and English Language and Composition. I am in advanced math and Spanish classes as well. I also have a strong musical background playing both piano (12 years) and the saxophone.
