Throughout my life I've had to adapt. Early life adversity within my family circumstances required that I develop resilience. As a person I love to be with my family, my friends and play sports. I began playing lacrosse in 2nd grade along with hockey, baseball, basketball and football. In 6th grade I decided to make a commitment to lacrosse, I chose to play lacrosse because of 2 reasons including how the first time I played I walked off the field with a big smile on my face and the mixture of the physicality, stick skills and the agility that are seen in other sports. From that time I've spent every day shooting, playing wall ball, taking faceoffs and lifting weights, this is a practice I will continue daily.
As a player I'm aggressive on the field and not afraid of contact with anybody including those who are bigger than me. Even as a faceoff guy I can put the ball in the back of the net. I am very coachable and I work hard to help my team. As a collegiate player I plan to work as hard as possible to help my team win games and help to improve my teammates as well as my own skills on the field. When I reach the collegiate level I plan to take the record for faceoff win percentage at whatever level I am at.
As a student I pride myself on doing my best in the classroom and making sure to study every day to make sure I maintain all A’s and B’s in the classroom.
