Personal Statement

I am 13yrs old in 8th grade. I was captain of the JH lacrosse team last year as well as the football captain two years in a row. This year I was pulled up on the JV lacrosse team as a starting offensive player. I play attack as well as midfielder but I prefer playing attack especially on the crease. I am also being sponsored by a surf company I enjoy surfing when I am not playing lacrosse. I am in all honors and regents classes, I also am in several clubs my overall average this year is an 98. I made principals list every quarter and have received the directors award for music and several state awards.

Are you in honor classes?

Yes. English 8H- only advanced English class for my grade. 8X Math-the advanced math course for my age, we are covering 9th grade material. Living Environment 8X-the advanced science course for my age, we are learning the 9th grade curriculum. Intro to Science Research-a hand selected elective science course for more advanced students. Next year my schedule states that I will be in all AP classes possible.
