I started playing lacrosse 8 years ago and have never stopped. I loved it the minute I picked up the stick. Even though it was sometimes difficult to pursue because of the lack of programs in Brooklyn I always found a way to play. The growth of lacrosse in Brooklyn, NY has been amazing to watch and I believe that I am a part of it. I am coachable and an extremely hard worker. I have been practicing every day after school even when I don’t have official practices. I am a defensive player through and through no matter what sport I am playing.
When I’m not playing lacrosse I love to make music. Music has been a major part of my life. I play the piano, guitar, drums and I sing in my school chorus and an acapella group. During the summers I am a beach lifeguard at the Jersey Shore and I plan to become an EMT next summer when I am old enough.
I am looking for a program that will be the best fit for me academically and athletically. I feel that I have been a leader on the lacrosse field for my High School team and I hope I am able to bring that leadership to my next school both on and off the field.
