Michael D’Amato '21 Recruiting Profile

I am Michael D’Amato, and I am a Sophomore at Deer Park High School.  I currently have a 3.86 GPA, some of which are in honors classes. My favorite classes are Science and Math, which are also the areas where I would like to concentrate my college studies. I am open to any college depending on if they have my major, a lacrosse team and if it is a good fit for me.

I am a two sport athlete, playing both soccer (defense) and lacrosse (attack).  I played on Junior Varsity last year on both, but was pulled up to play Varsity for about half of the lacrosse season.  I also play Club Soccer(HBC) and Club Lacrosse(24lax), volunteer for the local PAL lacrosse program, volunteer at the local food bank and help take care of my 4 year old brother. All this has helped me to be humble and respectful of others. 

If you ask any of my teachers or coaches about me, they will all probably say the same thing.  That I am always will to learn, always listening, helpful, always trying my hardest and a person who doesn’t give up.  If you are looking for a smart person who isn’t afraid to learn, listen, work hard and with great field vision, then I am your student athlete.
