2016 Highlights
Max Kruszeski 201...Ever since I was a young first grader playing PAL lacrosse, I knew that I wanted to play lacrosse for the rest of my life. I felt an instant connection with the sport and knew it was for me. Growing up with that idea in my mind, my goal became more clear: to play for Division one lacrosse program ,and to excel both as an individual and as a team. Achieving that goal was and still is the reason I push myself so hard athletically and academically. Doing so, I was pulled up to varsity as an 8th grader to start for my school team. This step was big for me starting on varsity in 8th grade while balancing my 4.0 GPA would be tough, but I was up for the challenge. Throughout the years, I've been complemented numerous times on my incredible knowledge of the game with my lacrosse IQ, field vision, and natural desire to find skip lanes, create better scoring opportunities, and make the one more pass for the unselfish goal. I may not have always been the teams leading scorer, but I've always led the team in assists. Athletically, I've always pushed myself to become a well-rounded athlete, I've done this by becoming a second team all-county Varsity Cross-Country runner, and the starting point guard on our school's JV basketball team. I try my best to bring skills I've learned in these sports and incorporate them into lacrosse to make my game better. Throughout all of these sports I've been given complements on my ability to be coachable and adapt my game to further develop my skills. I've maintained a 4.0 GPA throughout my 7th,8th, and 9th grade years, participate in the NJROTC program, play in Jazz band ensemble, and volunteer at my local church. I look forward to where my Lacrosse experience will bring me in the upcoming year.
