Dylan Gefter '18 Recruiting Profile

I am looking for an opportunity at a great university where I can continue to play lacrosse and get the best education possible.  I have been a high academic performer at a very well respected school, Syosset High School.  I have challenged myself so far with a few Honors level classes and I will be continuing to add to that course load in the next year.  I balance two JV level sports (Soccer & Lacrosse) and also play on travel teams year-round in both sports as well. 

I am a solid, self motivated student-athlete, who excels in the classroom as well as on the field.  In both Soccer & Lacrosse, I have demonstrated leadership by being appointed as a team captain, and have been described by my coaches at each level as a "very coachable young man who takes practice lessons to the field in game situations."  

I balance my time well in juggling my sports and extra-curricular activities, and more importantly I always describe myself as a serious student.  I think that with my background I can be a solid success story as a student athlete at a university that is right place for me.
