In my life I have had to face many adversities. I was diagnosed at 6 years old with a working memory disorder and was subsequently labeled, learning disabled. I never let that interfere with the goals that I set out to achieve. I worked extremely hard and was declassified as a 6th grader. I am currently an AP student with a 3.9 GPA. My work ethic also translates on the field. I continue to strive to be the best I can be both on and off the field. I feel I will add tremendous value to any school that I have the opportunity to play for.
I love lacrosse and have enjoyed playing since the age of ten. I have played competitively with my high school team as well as travel lacrosse. Additionally, I have played football since I was the age of eight. Although I have played many sports throughout my career, lacrosse is my passion and what I love which has led me to play travel lacrosse for Trilogy and many showcases. I have also given back to my community and volunteered to train with the youth lacrosse program.
Throughout my career I have been recognized as the defensive MVP for my team as well as named all division. Additionally, I have worked extremely hard in school to get to where I am. I put in a lot of effort and time to understand and learn the content presented in class. I am confident that my work ethic will not only help me but my teammates as well. I have been recognized as a player that when it comes to on and off ball defense that I am quick and can get guys into bad spots where they turn over the ball. Also, it has been noted that I have a knack for taking the ball away and getting the ball to the offensive side of the field. Additionally, my travel lacrosse team noted that I am an easy choice of who they want out on the field running the defense. Furthermore, it has been noted that I am one of the fastest players on my team which as a defender makes me dangerous. I am able to use my speed to get up the field and foster a fast break.
As a leader and student, my aspiration both on and off the field makes me an excellent candidate to any school and team.
Thank you,
Patrick Tully
