Personal Statement

Hello Coaches, 

First and foremost my parents have always taught me that a student athlete starts with being a good student both in the class room and on the field. I truly want to take the time to learn from my teachers and the coaches that devote their time to winning in both life and on the field.

Some of my college goals are going to be to finish at that top of my class.  At this time in my life I am really into video games and computers. I would like to pursue a career in programing, video game design and computer engineering. Another goal I have is to (a) make the college of my choices lacrosse team and (b) be an impact player who helps his teammates win! Not all teams can be National Champions but if you don`t set your goals high then why play the game!

I know that there are a lot of candidates out there but I have a hunger and passion for both this game and winning! I have a great support system which starts with my parents, current coaches and friends and they truly allow me to focus on my dreams.

  • Played a little more than a quarter as a goalie (3 golies on each team) and allowed zero goals! Rest of the game, I played attack. West team won the game 9-8 but had a great time with some very good athletes.

  • Turning 14 years old on Nov 1st of this year my parents only recently allowed me to do weights. I have been in the gym two days per week for the last six weeks. This is a starting point and I will continue to increase frequency as I progress.
  • Carolina Hilltoppers individual position camps

  • This will be the first time I attend this camp to work on my individual skills as a keeper. These will be on November 27th, 29 and December 4th and 6th. Always looking for way to get the stick in my hands. After Week One, we worked on improving me attacking the ball on all types of shots. Coach has given me several drills that I can work on at home. Truly love this process and the attention I am getting, being that I am the only goalie at this camp (lots of reps!!!).

  • ActivitiesLast year of Middle School I participated in a First Lego Rebotics League (FLL) and our team made State for the second time in three years. Our team won an award for the best researched project for the second time in three years. I won the Nights of Columbus Citizenship award in my Senior year of Middle School (spring 2019) as well as two awards for my work in Spanish.
