The friendships and experiences within lacrosse continue to shape me as a person. I am part of a small program in a small community, which has presented opportunities for me to contribute in different roles and responsibilities, defense, LSM, face off, man up offense...all great experiences! As a small program, we don't win every game but we grow through each season. I am proud to have been voted Team Captain and MVP last season because of my willingness to do whatever it took, my dedication to develop as a player, and my leadership.
I have also been fortunate to have the ability to play for great programs over summer, fall and winter and I am lucky to have parents who are supportive. I feel like I have to work harder to earn those opportunities being from a school program without the name recognition, but I use that to motivate me to work even harder. I am confident my skills will continue to grow to be a strong contributor to your team on the field and be a leader and player who appreciates his teammates for what they bring to the team, regardless of where they are from.
