My name is Gabriel Marshall, and I’m a 2027 goalie from Northeast Ohio attending Kent Roosevelt High School. I’ve been playing lacrosse for five years, and from the moment I picked up a stick, I knew I loved this sport and wanted to pursue it at the college level.
This past high school season, I recorded 284 saves with a 63% save percentage. That performance placed me in the OHSAA record books for 6th most saves in a single season (284) and 8th most saves in a single game (30). I was honored to be named team captain as a sophomore, where I led with energy, positivity, and a strong work ethic both on and off the field. I helped my program from winning 3 games in 3 years, to going 9-9 beating some stiff competition. My goal for the end of my lacrosse career is to set the OHSAA record for most saves in a career.
For my academics this year, I ended with a 4.1 GPA. I was also an academic scholar for both soccer and lacrosse. I am also a student ambassador and a freshman mentor, not only using my leadership skills in the lacrosse field but in the classroom as well. My goal for next year is to continue to keep a 4.0 GPA while taking harder AP classes this year. Once in college I hope to major in a business degree either in finance or accounting.
Thank you for taking your time reading this- Gabriel Marshall.
