I started box lacrosse at the age of 4 and was hooked on the game after winning a provincial championship when I was 7. My box lacrosse experience has given me stick skills that make me unique among field lacrosse goalies because I play with the confidence of an offensive box lacrosse player. Playing field lacrosse on several different teams in Ontario has given me the opportunity to learn from talented coaches and other skilled players. Attending showcases has improved my confidence in playing the game anytime, anywhere. Being a field lacrosse goalie has allowed me to develop my leadership skills which I have transferred to my school life where I am Assistant House Captain in my residence and a chapel council leader. My academic goals this year are to improve on my 3.98 GPA. I wish to study sciences at the post secondary level in the hopes of becoming a professional in health sciences.
