Pierson Lafrance '22 Recruiting Profile

I am a 5'10", 155 pound middie/attackmen who comes from a family who believes that sports build character and keep you healthy, academics keep you stimulated and music touches your heart. 

My lacrosse history includes 10 years of experience including a box lacrosse Provincial Championship with the Peterborough Lakers as a minor in 2019 and a provincial championship in field lacrosse. In 2019 I was recruited to Evolve Elite Lacrosse and played in the 2020 and 2021 ALL-Canada games. The summer of 2020 I played and was the Team Captain for the Wolverine Lacrosse Club where we went undefeated in our season and won the league Championship, I led the league in goals with 67 points. Summer of 2021 I played for the Maverick Lacrosse Club in Hamilton Ontario and finished my season with 56 points and was drafted to the All-Star team, our team won 3-1.  I was also drafted to play for Top-Prospects Canada 3 years in a row which is the largest showcase in Canada featuring the top 100 athletes around the country.

Summer of 2021 I flew down to Boston to Play in the United States Premier Lacrosse League in Andover Massachusetts for the Boston Cavaliers where I received Top-Performer. 

On September 29, 2021 at the 19th Annual Cobourg Civic Awards I received the Layton Dodge Athlete of the Year Award from the Mayor of Cobourg which was broadcasted on Live T.V

In March of 2022 I started a Varsity lacrosse program at my school and we are currently in season playing against neighbouring city's and even schools from Quebec. 

In addition to lacrosse I am a sailing instructor, snowboard instructor and gymnastics coach. I have 5 gold medals in Junior-varsity wrestling. 

Despite my busy sports involvement I have maintained a 3.7-4 GPA in university level courses.

I have played violin for 11 years and write some of my own music. Over the past few years I started playing guitar. 

I am searching for a school with a strong lacrosse team and solid business program.
