My name is Max Benoit, I am a senior student at the The Hill Academy in Canada.
I have been playing Lacrosse for almost half of my life. I play midfield and attack. As a midfielder I have great anticipation skills and the ability to keep my team onside. I am reliable in my transition of the ball up the field and I am able to make key passes that allow my teammates or myself to score. As a midfielder I am in great physical condition and have great hand/eye coordination and I am able to do sprinting/directional changes with ease.
I believe that I am a student of the game. I strive to become an educated player. I am able to recognize how to improve my game and understand the mistakes made on the field by using game film to problem solve as a team to become more unified in our game play.
As a Canadian with a strong box lacrosse skill, I am used to a fast-paced game driven by the shot clock. I am used to playing in tight corners and taking shots from a variety of angles on the net. I feel that playing box at high levels has enhanced my field game incredibly. As a team player, I am extremely coachable and positively absorb feedback using it to improve my game and make me a better team mate. Lacrosse has taught me things that I use everyday in school and on the field. I am a leader on the field and in the classroom. I have the discipline and dedication to be an important part of the team. I am accountable for my actions and enjoy a supportive team environment that pushes me to be a strong athlete and even stronger team player. I hope to attend a school with a good Business/Economics program.
