As the only freshman who made the Highland Park Scots DI Varsity Lacrosse team, I started every game last spring. We made it to the state championship but lost, finishing the season with a 17-2 record with losses to St Ignatius (SF) and Dallas Jesuit. This year, I started at wide receiver and on the onside kickoff squad on the Highland Park JV Blue (top) team (aka Varsity Huddles 3&4), winning District 15-5A. Last year, I played power forward on the freshman basketball team, achieving a 32-4 record, and will play again this year after football playoffs. Sports are my passion. I have loved playing lacrosse since 1st grade, playing D/LSM for my school and club teams locally and nationally, and have been lucky to play for many great coaches.

Academically, I hold a 3.8 in my sophomore courses: pre-AP English II, AP World History, pre-AP Latin II, Geometry, Chemistry I, Advanced Journalism II (Yearbook). D.A.R.E. Student of the Year: May 2012. Outside of school and sports, I’m committed to volunteering with Young Men’s Service League (YMSL) as President and to Boy Scouts Troop 82 where I became a Life Scout last year and am now working toward Eagle Scout. I also enjoy traveling with family, sports, and school trips which have taken me as far away as London with the drama class because the football coach chaperone was allowed to select a few players to go.
