Ethan Smith '26 Recruiting Profile

I am a Junior at Saint Ignatius College Prep. I currently row 5 seat on the V1 8+. I was one of only two sophomores at my school to be selected to row at the Head of Charles, got bronze at Southwest Regional Championships, and my JV 8+ boat finished in gold at Cooper River for SRAA 2024. Although, I was only introduced to this sport my freshman year my passion and dedication to the sport has grown. I have always given my all in practice and on race day, and support my teammates on and off the water. Academically, I have maintained a weighted GPA  of over a 4.0 while taking multiple honors classes. I plan on pursing an engineering degree and am looking for a college that fits my academic goals and allows me to continue to row competitively.
