Personal Statement

I started high school playing both soccer and rowing, but joining Chicago Rowing Foundation (CRF) changed everything. At CRF, I discovered the intensity of competitive rowing, which pushed me to become a better athlete and a more focused person. Juggling two sports taught me about time management and commitment. As my passion for rowing grew, I decided to fully commit to it. What sets me apart is my constant drive to improve. I'm always working on my technique and performance. My multi-sport background has made me adaptable - I learn quickly and fit well into any team. I'm excited to bring this energy and dedication to a college rowing team.
