As a student, I hope to improve myself everyday by meeting new people and learning new things. As an athlete, I aspire to push myself harder than I did the day prior, and not let anything stop my crew and I from setting records and making waves. As a passionate student athlete and a cancer survivor, I understand that everyday is a battle between the easy choices and the right choices. I endeavor to row at the Olympic level someday, and I resolve to continue with the sport that has made me the person I am currently, and I hope to bring my skills to another crew down the line, and improve our speed as a result.
